Learning games for 6-year-olds

By six, many children are starting to read on their own, and they want games that respect how much they know. Maestri World is designed for pre-readers, so at six it works best for children who are still early readers, or as a deep second stretch for those who started younger.

Every game is open at six. The top rungs ask for real reasoning: magic blocks (functions) and turning from the robot’s point of view, heavy loads on the bridge, ordering more stock in the warehouse, and look-alike flags on the world trip.

What helps

What to look for in games for 6-year-olds

Depth over new menus

Instead of more mini-games, each game climbs higher. A 6-year-old meets harder versions of ideas they already know.

Bigger projects

The dig site is an open world with goals to discover, and the band stage keeps up to six songs your child made.

A second language

Tuca the toucan’s language school teaches Portuguese words and little sentences.

FAQ

Questions parents ask

Is Maestri World right for a 6-year-old who already reads?

It is made for children who cannot read yet, so a confident reader may find the spoken style slow. Children who are still early readers usually enjoy the higher rungs of the coding, building and science games.

A whole town of learning, ready when your child is

Spoken from the first tap, no reading needed, no ads, and progress that stays on your iPad.
