About the app
What is Maestri World?
An iPad app with 22 learning games for children aged about 3 to 6 who can't read yet. The home screen is a little 3D town where every building is a game.
Which devices does it run on?
Maestri World is made for iPad, in both landscape and portrait.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Once installed, everything it needs is on the iPad: voice, pictures and games. It works in airplane mode.
Which language is it in?
The narration is in English. The language school teaches Portuguese, and the trip around the world says hello in the language of every country it visits.
Learning
Does my child need to read?
No. Every instruction is spoken, buttons are pictures, and each game is a building that shows what happens inside.
What ages is it for?
About 3 to 6. Most games open at three, some at four and the most demanding at five, based on the birth month a parent enters. A parent can open or hide any game.
How does it adapt to my child?
Each game has a ladder of skills. It moves up after a couple of clean rounds and gives more help after a hard one. Today's trip brings back what was learned anywhere in the app, with reviews that are due first.
What happens after a mistake?
Nothing bad: no lives, no red crosses, no timers that run out. Mistakes are part of the game, and in some games, like the bridge builder, a wrong try ends in a funny splash.
Is it a curriculum?
No. It practices skills that preschool and kindergarten build on, through play. It works best alongside reading together, real-world play and plenty of time outside.
Safety, privacy and screen time
Are there ads?
No. There are no ads in Maestri World.
What data does the app collect?
Progress and the play journal behind the parent charts are stored on the iPad and do not leave it, unless you export a backup file yourself.
How does the parent gate work?
Hold the gear for two seconds, then answer a written two-digit sum. Nothing about it is spoken, so a child who cannot read it cannot guess their way in.
Can I limit how long my child plays?
Yes. You choose the session length. When it is up, the break screen gives a small mission to do at home.
Can siblings share an iPad?
Yes. Each child has their own progress and their own age-matched town, and a parent switches between them.
A whole town of learning, ready when your child is
Spoken from the first tap, no reading needed, no ads, and progress that stays on your iPad.
