About Maestri World
Maestri World started at home, as a geography game a parent built for their own preschooler: a child who loved flags but could not read a word. Everything since has grown from the same question. What would this child want to explore, and how do we make it work without a single word to read?
From one game to a whole town
The first game was a trip around the world: meet a country, paint its flag, drive there, and remember it. Then came letter sounds, a crane for numbers, a robot to program, a bridge to build, a microscope, a family home full of everyday habits, a band to play in. Each one became a building in a little town, because a child who cannot read finds things by what they look like and where they are.
Today there are 22 games, from flags and phonics to coding, science and sleep, and each one has its own ladder of skills that grows with the child.
What's in the name
In Italian, maestri are teachers: the people who guide children through their first steps in reading, numbers and the world. The crown in our logo is the reward children collect in the games, sitting on top of the world because that is where every new country, sound and number takes them.

What we believe
Six rules every game follows
Spoken first
If a game needs an adult to read the screen, it is not finished. Every instruction, name and hint is spoken, and can be heard again with a tap.
No fail states
No lives, no red crosses, no timers that run out. Mistakes are where the learning happens, so they have to feel safe.
Grounded in how children learn
Phonics in a set order, numbers as things to count, review that comes back on a schedule. Where research shaped a design choice, our notes say so.
Calm and private
No ads, no streaks to keep up, a parent area behind a grown-up gate, and progress that stays on the iPad.
Plain, careful content
Standard names, plain facts, standard greetings. No politics, brands or stereotypes in what children see and hear.
Depth over clutter
Fewer menus and more rungs: each game keeps growing with the child instead of adding another mini-game.
Friends in the town
Who your child will meet
Bo the bear
A little brown bear who lives in a log cabin, comes over for meals, and plays the drums in the band. Bo gets things wrong so your child can put them right.
Beep the robot
A friendly little robot with a screen face, who goes exactly where the arrow blocks say, and nowhere else.
Tuca the toucan
Teaches the language school, and speaks only Portuguese.
The turtle
Races your child along the number road, one square at a time.
A whole town of learning, ready when your child is
Spoken from the first tap, no reading needed, no ads, and progress that stays on your iPad.
